General description of the situation. Russia launched a war against Ukraine on February 24, 2022 (27th day of the war). They began with a rocket-bomb attack on 17 Ukrainian cities, first on military infrastructure and now on civilian infrastructure.
Today, March 22, the twenty-seventh day of the heroic opposition of the Ukrainian people to the Russian military invasion has begun.
The enemy did not have significant problems with securing its troops. Russian occupation forces operating in Ukraine have stockpiles of ammunition and food for no more than three days. The situation with fuel is similar.
During the fighting, the enemy temporarily holds the land corridor with the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and blocks access to the Sea of Azov.
In the Polissya direction (Chernobyl) during the day the enemy tried to intensify offensive operations in several directions, suffered losses, but did not succeed. Continues to conduct air reconnaissance in order to find optimal ways to improve its position.
In the Seversky direction (Chernihiv) the enemy is not conducting active offensive operations, continues to restore offensive capabilities by introducing additional units on the territory of Ukraine, including a battalion tactical group from the 90th Panzer Division. The shelling of Chernihiv and other settlements continues.
In the Slobozhansky direction (Kharkiv) the enemy did not carry out active offensive operations, continued to partially block the city of Sumy, and carried out artillery shelling in the city of Kharkiv. In the Okhtyrka district of the Sumy region, the facts of disobedience of Russian servicemen were recorded. About 300 occupiers refused to carry out the order to conduct hostilities and 70 units of equipment, leaving the area of the operation.
In the Donetsk and Luhansk directions, the enemy continues to try to advance and gain a foothold, but was unsuccessful. The cities of Severodonetsk, Lysychansk, Rubizhne, Popasna and Kreminna (Luhansk region) were shelled again. In the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk region, due to heavy losses of manpower, the enemy continues to mobilize citizens.
In the South Bug direction, the occupiers have taken defensive action, are taking measures to restore combat capability, trying to restore damaged armored vehicles.
In the Nikolaev direction, as a result of counterattack of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy is forced to retreat to unfavorable borders.
Thanks to the heroic actions of the defenders, the state flag was raised over the city of Makarov in the Kyiv region. Also divisions of airborne assault troops of ZSU liberated the village in the Nikolaev area from occupiers.
Interesting events around the village of Chornobaivka of the Nikolaev area. The occupiers’ troops are being destroyed there for the seventh time (!). Helicopters and enemy military vehicles burned there seven times.
This time from Chornobaevka started firing from system of volley fire “Hail” across Nikolaev. Ukrainian artillery was ammunition and all Hail systems were destroyed.
Then a rocket was launched upwards from this place by Russian troops, but it turned around and fell into the place of concentration of Russian equipment and neutralized it.
From Russian sources it became known about the liquidation of the commander of 171 ODSHB (occupied Fedodosiya) Guards Lieutenant Colonel Sharshavov Alexei Vasilyevich. He died on March 7-9.
Five cases of illegal detention of local government representatives by the Russian occupiers have been recorded in Chernihiv Oblast. In the village of Andriyivka, Mykhailo-Kotsyubyn community, the occupiers detained the village head Mykola Budalovsky and local deputy and school principal Tetyana Bezlyudna. The head of the village was also detained. Gremyach of the Novgorod- Siversky community (Chernihiv region). According to locals, his military equipment was taken to Russia. Two representatives of local self-government were abducted in the village of Nova Basan, Nizhyn district, in the south of the region.
In the Kharkiv region, the occupiers abducted the head of the village of Tsyrkuny, Mykola Sidalenko, directly from his own house.
In the temporarily occupied Berdyansk (Zaporizhzhya region), the occupiers found a traitor and appointed him mayor. It’s about Alexander Saulenko. In his address, Saulenko broadcast traditional messages of Russian propaganda about the “Kyiv junta” and the “brotherly Russian people.”
