Dmytro Lubinets commented on the situation in Volnovakha. He also spoke about Mariupol, the extent of the damage done to cities and denied information about “green corridors”:
“The corridor is not open. There was an official appeal from parliament. As chairman of the Human Rights Committee, I have also addressed the International Committee of the Red Cross, which deals with such issues. We have not received any answers. “
According to Mr. Dmytro, the Army and the people, evacuated from Volnovakha require aid. Currently, there is a lack of bulletproof vests and thermal imagers. There is an urgent need for medical devices and equipment: hemostatic drugs, tourniquets, dressings.
“The first issue we need to raise is to close the sky over Ukraine, we demand this from our partners from separate countries and European institutions.”
Maria Mezentseva contacted us from Kharkiv. According to her, humanitarian aid is delivered by Ukrzaliznytsia. The most urgent goods are: protective helmets, hygiene products, child care products. Hot food delivery headquarters have also been set up.
“I was present at the online meeting, organized by the Council of Europe, they are making a special tool – a phone app for refugees, conserning accommodation and further assistance. That is, the final version of the application will be released soon, “- said the deputy.
