Latvia will provide Ukrainian citizens with accommodation, food and other assistance, according to the Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).
In order for Ukrainian citizens to be able to live and work in Latvia, they will be issued long-term visas with the right to work in Latvia.
Ukrainian citizens do not need a covid certificate or a negative Covid-19 test when entering Latvia. If Ukrainian citizens need medical assistance when entering Latvia, they should report it at the border or call 113.
Those citizens of Ukraine who do not have a place to live in Latvia should return to the border guards for help.
