The Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Montenegro and Croatia to Ukraine, Dragica Ponorac and Anica Djamic have commented on the multisectoral assistance and future plans.
“We have already decided to send some helmet and some body armour. And some already made food for the military,” – said Dragica Ponorac.
She also stressed that she had received a response letter from higher education institutions in Kyiv: Taras Shevchenko National University and KPI. According to Ms. Ponorac, there have already prepared a hotel to accommodate refugees. She noted that she is commited to providing Ukrainians with all they need.
Anica Djamic commented on the situation in Ukraine: “First of all, just to be sure, we are with you. This war is so unjust that there is no doubt that you will win. Whole Croatia prays for you.”
Ms. Djamic said that the Prime Minister of Croatia and the government had agreed to send humanitarian aid, including medicines and doctors, to Ukraine. Croatia is also ready to accept refugees.
“They are [military personnel] the heroes. You all are heroes,”- said Anica Djamic.
