This day, on March 9, a representative office of the International assistance headquarters for Ukrainians has been established in Slovakia, in the town of Spišská Nová Ves.
“We have chosen three directions in which we conduct and carry out our work: informational coverage of the realities of the war in Ukraine, interaction with the international media; consulting and assistance with logistics, settlement and accommodation for refugees; organization of humanitarian aid to doctors, military personnel, refugees from around the world in Ukraine and abroad. This day, the Headquarters have 205 coordinators from 71 countries. Due to this, we have the opportunity to cooperate with all Ministries and permits of Ukraine, and partly with other countries. Join our team and let’s fight the enemy together!” – stressed Hanna Krysiuk, International assistance headquarters for Ukrainians.

The goal of the International assistance headquarters for Ukrainians is to establish global communication and coordination with government institutions, permits and centers, medical institutions, volunteers and community organizations, as well as business communities to help refugees, the military personnel and civilians.
Olga Semanchakova, a specialist in the field of investment in precious stones and precious metals, is the head of the office and coordinator of the Headquarters in Slovakia. Many thanks to the City Mayor, Pavlov Bekarik and the entire Spišská Nová Ves crisis committee for their cooperation with the Ukrainian people and their willingness to help. We have also received assistance from the Mayor of Smižany, Myroslav Szitov and the crisis committee. God bless your families for your help, and may you never suffer from the horror my fellow citizens are experiencing right now.”

Coincidentally, the office of the International assistance headquarters for Ukrainians was opened on the birthday of Taras Shevchenko, who was a Ukrainian writer, poet, playwright, philosopher, humanist, painter and a great representative of the Ukrainian nation.
Even now, more than 200 years later, during the war in Ukraine, Shevchenko’s words have not lost their relevance:
” Keep fighting – you are sure to win!
God helps you in your fight!
For fame and freedom march with you,
And right is on your side! ” (1845)
